Is your family mired in conflict?

Four questions that you may ask of yourself are:

1. Do I enjoy the stress that this conflict has created?
2. Do I want the stress levels reduced?
3. How am I responsible for the mess that this family is in? Of what part of this mess can I take ownership?
4. If I accept my share of the responsibility for the mess (question #3), do I feel confident I can start to resolve the disagreements?

Causes, conditions and effects are always related. Meditation can teach us how we often cause our own difficulties and how we can be more fluid in our response to changes in our lives. A mind free of distress always, always, always reduces conflict.
